Link everyone must watch

Has everyone seen this link: http://www.campaignforrealbeauty.com/? It's a short film that shows how supermodels are "transformed", and I think everyone needs to watch it. It's about 30 seconds long.

ETA: Another online friend also linked me to this site that shows before/after retouching. Also very upsetting.

What is especially tragic is that everyone of those girls, in both examples, are stunning to start with. I looked at a few of the other retouched pictures as well. One of them looks like she was deliberatly messed up before the retouching (girl with bands drawn on her arms).

I remember when I did some modeling and was told not to worry about a pimple, it could be air brushed out. They have gone way beyond that now.

I object to the women magazines that take a star, who we can see on TV that is not well endowed in the breasts, but on the magazine cover is a full C cup. C'mon people? Small breasted women are sexy too! What does this do to women's confidence in thier own bodies?? Photo"chopped" has changed photography a LOT. I remember doing "touch ups" in the dark room, it'd take forever! Now, 10 minutes of clicking, and BAM! the picture is completly different.

I firmly believe every school should have a class in advertising for the students. Show things like this, and how they "persuade" you to buy things you don't need.
