Gifts for Children

I stole the following verbatim from
charlotte_buff. Much thanks to her for posting it--I started my day by buying four little presents for children, and it made me feel good.
----------------------------
I was attempting to update my amazon wish list this morning when I came across a link at the top of the amazon page for the Today Show Wish List.
"Help a child in need by purchasing an item from the Today Show Gift Drive Wish List. NBC's Today show is working with over 200 organizations, including local Boys & Girls Clubs and the NYU Medical Center."
The price range starts at as little as $10 all the way up to $225, but there are definitely more reasonably priced items than there are expensive items.
So, if you you have some extra cash this holiday season and can't find a local children's gift drive in your area, this might be an option. Since I would rather buy online during the holidays, this is a great option for someone like me, so I thought I'd share the link.
However, if money is tight as hell and you just want a reminder of some of the wonderful things that technology has to offer the anonymous gifters of the world, check out the wish list link anyway. It's quite heart-warming.
